Special Event: View artwork by Humboldt County artists at the long term exhibit coordinated by the Redwood Art Association. Featuring works by Robert Benson, Floyd Bettiga, Thomas Klapproth, Jim McVicker, William Pierson, Laura Rose, Stock Schlueter and Stilson Snow.

SILVER LINING, 3561 Boeing Avenue (at the Eureka-Arcata Airport)
Musical Guest: Terrapin Breeze, an original rock power duo Tim Breed and Johnnie Zee from 6-8 p.m.
Special Event: Comedy as Art! See standup comedy by Ba-Dum-Chh, with house band Terrapin Breeze.

McKINLEYVILLE HIGH SCHOOL, 1300 Murray Rd. in the Library
“Environment” Show: Artwork by McK High students that reflects some aspect of an environment - such as urban or suburban life, light and weather, or imaginary lands
“Objective Still Lives” Show: Photographs by by McK photography students that emphasize the formal qualities of the objects such as texture, line, or color
Special Event: Opening night for Environment and Objective Still Lives, two art shows featuring Mack Arts student work, on view at the McKinleyville High School library until November 8th. Opening reception events include “make-and-take” art projects for all ages, an open ceramics lab, refreshments, and music. On display will be art, photography, sculpture, and ceramics made by McKinleyville High School fine arts students. 

OLD BLOCKBUSTER BUILDING, In the McKinleyville Shopping Center
Special Event: Special one night show! "Art From Mending Hearts" - photography, acrylic, pencil, sculpture & fabric art by survivors of & allies against violence against women for Domestic Violence Awareness month. The show is a benefit for Humboldt Domestic Violence Services and North Coast Rape Crisis Team
Musical Guest: Folk music by Adyn McCabe, folk music

Special Event: Bring your family out to a night of art and fun with special activities from 6:30-7:30 p.m. The theme for October is "Spooky Art Night"! Come prepared for a fun night for children of all ages.
